Requirements |
-For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: - |

i. A Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution; and |

Duties and Responsibilities |
-i. Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems; |
-
ii. Providing user support and training of users; |
-
iii. Undertaking the basic development of ICT solutions and projects; |
-
iv. Monitoring the performance of Information Communication Technology equipment; |
-
v. Troubleshooting system and network issues and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults; |
-
vi. Maintaining printers, photocopiers, scanners and other peripherals to ensure availability of service; |
-
vii. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications; |
-
viii. Preparing hardware |
-software specifications for Information Communication Technology network equipment |
-systems; |
-
ix. Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues; and |
-
x. Reporting any faults for further action. |

? Clearance from relevant professional body. |
