Requirements
-For appointment to this grade, the applicant must have: -
- i. A Diploma in any of the following fields: Computer Science, Information Technology, Information and Communication Technology or its equivalent from a recognized institution; and
- ii. Demonstrated merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.

Duties and Responsibilities
-i. Assisting in the implementation of the computer systems;
- ii. Providing user support and training of users;
- iii. Undertaking the basic development of ICT solutions and projects;
- iv. Monitoring the performance of Information Communication Technology equipment;
- v. Troubleshooting system and network issues and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults;
- vi. Maintaining printers, photocopiers, scanners and other peripherals to ensure availability of service;
- vii. Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applications;
- viii. Preparing hardware
-software specifications for Information Communication Technology network equipment
-systems;
- ix. Talking staff or clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues; and
- x. Reporting any faults for further action.

- Shortlisted candidates will be required to submit valid copies of clearance certificates from the following bodies during the interview: -
- ? Kenya Revenue Authority
- ? Higher Education Loans Board
- ? Directorate of Criminal Investigation
- ? Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
- ? A recognized Credit Reference Bureau; and
- ? Clearance from relevant professional body.
